Reinstall Ubuntu

Dropbox

  1. In terminal
      cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86_64" | tar xzf -
      ~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

  2. Add Dropbox command to Preferences/Startup Applications in main Ubuntu menu:
      /home/jeff/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

    (Not sure this works)

  3. This does. in /etc/init.d/ create a file dropbox and populate with:
    #!/bin/sh
    ### BEGIN INIT INFO
    # Provides:          dropbox
